About

Katrina Rojas is a Boston-based graphic designer and visual storyteller with a deep passion for branding and web design. With a background in journalism and strategic communication, she brings a storytelling-driven approach to every design project—translating ideas into thoughtful, visually compelling solutions that elevate brands and amplify impact.

As the founder of KR Design Studio, she has led creative projects across industries, designing brand identities, digital assets, and user-friendly websites that resonate with diverse audiences. Having worked with Walk With Gonzo, the Association of Latino Professionals for America, Living Art Boston, Valley Venture Mentors, FSG Consultants, Effective Grants LLC and more, her design work is rooted in intentionality, combining visual finesse with strategic clarity to ensure each piece aligns with the client’s mission and vision. 

In addition to her freelance work, she brings experience in photography, marketing, public relations, and social media strategy from roles at The Castle Group and the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts, having led design initiatives internally and for large-scale events. She understands how visuals operate within a broader communications ecosystem and enjoys developing integrated brand campaigns that drive engagement and visibility across platforms.
